Tom Moore

Gold Coast based drummer, Tom Moore is one of Australia’s most young up and coming players. At a young age he realised that autobiographical writing wasn't exactly his given gift so he chose to pursue a drum career instead. This ended up being a very wise decision.

Tom started playing professionally at the age of 16 playing shows at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, Blues of Broadbeach and several other locations across the Gold Coast and Australia. In an interview with himself, Tom said "I always found it hard to write in third person and this is the reason I never pursued by biography writing career." Despite this setback, Tom has managed to work with some of Australia’s finest musicians as well as keeping a busy teaching schedule. Tom conducts private lessons at Athena College on the Gold Coast and is a tutor at Griffith University’s summer and winter ‘Rock Schools’. He proudly uses Yamaha drums and Paiste cymbals and wishes to thank them for their ongoing support!
