Sector 7G

Exploding onto the local scene at the beginning of 2009 Sector 7G wasted no time forging a reputation as the hottest covers band in town.

Without exception the members of Sector 7G are champing at the bit to get back out there, pick up where they left off and show the local covers scene how it's done.
Armed with a line up of four experienced and professional musicians: Jake Reid, Don Macarthur ,Anders Cassidy and Nick White and a set list focussed on high-energy Top 40 songs and a few choice "classics" thrown into the mix, Sector 7G quickly set about obliterating bar-takings records everywhere they played - much to the delight of venue management.

A series of unfortunate events led to original singer, Jake Reid, returning to live in New Zealand. The timing couldn't have been worse, coinciding with offers of a 12 month residency at a leading Surfers Paradise bar, tours to central and northern Queensland, shows at the Prince Albert Bar, Beergarden and many more of the "premier venues" on the Gold Coast.
Indeed some 9 months or more later Sector 7G were still fielding calls from venues and agents requesting their services.

Rock chick Felicity Lawless now fronts the band with an abundance of experience as a full time musician for over 6 years, Felicity is the perfect fit. Equipped with an amazing range and the ability to cover everything from Kelis to the Rage Against The Machine, coupled with exceptional guitar ability and a dynamic stage presence, Felicity is proving a valuable new addition to the Sector 7G lineup.
