Rasmus Faber is the man behind timeless classics such as Ever After, Divided/United, Get Over Here, and Never Felt So Fly. As well as recent hits, Are You Ready and Everything Is Alright. Productions that have made him a sought after producer, completing remixes for industry icons such as Junior Jack, Miguel Migs, Axwell, Kaskade and Kings Of Tomorrow.

Undenyably one of the most energetic and captivating entertainers of the House Music scene, Rasmus sets himself apart from his industry counterparts by incorporating not just three CDJ’s and an ever busy mix of key matched tracks, but also flawless live piano playing which add a whole live element that leaves crowds and critics amazed and dancefloors in shambles.

Inspired by his jazz saxophonist father, Rasmus Faber started playing the piano at age 7. After receiving his first Atari computer at the age of 11 he began to write and arrange songs himself. "It was always about music. I kept on studying jazz piano, and started working as a session musician in my late teens, did some session musicians work for a few years, but also leading bands playing original music, some good years of learning the real craft."

At 20 years of age, Rasmus discovered his real musical passion; House music. “I suddenly realised that there was a genre that could contain so many of my influences at the same time. After having worked as a session player for other House producers for a while, I felt compelled to try it out for myself”. Setting to work on his debut single, he had soon finished ‘Never Felt So Fly,’ which captured hearts when released in 2002. It was his high standard of production and composition that grabbed the attention of Defected Records' head chief Simon Dunmore, who for a few years managed and taught Rasmus about the business and led him to remixing prominent artists such as Junior Jack, Kings of Tomorrow and Dubtribe Soundsystem.

Soon came the birth of Rasmus’s own independent record label, Farplane Records. The debut release was the massive club hit 'Ever After', and it was followed by equally successful releases such as 'Divided/United' and the Axwell remixed ‘Get Over Here.’ Other hits includes ‘Come With Me’ and ‘Demanda’, and more recently the Kaskade remixed club smash; 'Are You Ready'.

With all these accomplishments under his belt Rasmus, now a major player in the industry, has been gaining great respect for the standard of his releases that make Farplane Records the acclaimed outlet for quality house that it is. Solidifying this is his latest album ‘Where We Belong,’ a sublime collection of melodic dance, edged with deep-house and upfront pop featuring the stunning single ‘Everything Is Alright’, which won a raft of critical acclaims on release, everywhere from Sunday Times’ prestigious Culture magazine, to influential music industry blog Record Of The Day.

Rasmus’s continual touring is inevitably taking his famous DJ & Live Keys sets to new heights from season to season, ensuring you will never see the same thing twice.

Gearing up for future projects, a full remix version of the Where We Belong album is cooking in the Farplane studio, and on the drawing board lays an instrumental project for a full orchestra, as well as new exciting projects for the dancefloor.

Rasmus is currently remixing, and getting remixed by, Jerome Isma-Ae, Danism, Karizma, Hideo Kobayashi, Tiger Stripes, Stimming, Alf Tumble, Spiritchaser, Ananda Project, Kaskade, Lovebirds, Wamdue Project, Richard Earnshaw: the list goes on and on, yet more proof that Rasmus is in high demand and at the peak of his game.
