You might know him as Nathan G, or you might know him as Groovehunter. In fact, there’s any number of names that he goes under, but one thing is for certain, if you’re a fan of quality house music and you don’t yet know who Nathan G is... you’re doing your ears a disservice.Having slaved away on the Australian underground for well over a decade, Nathan has received more recognition for his music internationally than in his home country. Regularly touring throughout Europe and the USA, he’s had his tracks championed by luminaries like John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia, and he’s released music on labels like Om, Kinky Vinyl, Dreambeat and more. 2007 saw Nathan mix a disc alongside Alan Thompson in Ministry of Sound’s ‘Housexy’ CD series, the release marks Nathan’s debut into the world of mix compilations.
Continuing his quest for pushing real house music representing Australia, Melbourne based artist Nathan G returns to Oz after a superb month of touring, recording and promoting his highly anticipated Luvbug Recordings label over in the USA.
After DJ’ing in Chicago with legendary Ron Carroll, alongside vocalists Fourfeet & Alexander East in Minneapolis, plus parties for Miguel Migs’ Salted Music label and Om Records in San Francisco, Nathan is now back and armed with a host of bumpin’ new vocal house sounds and is already firing up dancefloors around the country! In Melbourne be sure to catch him on Saturday Nights alongside a host of international guests at Tramp, Sunday night @ Mink at the Prince or as a guest at Sydney’s latest place to be, Trademark. Nathan regularly graces the Gold Coast scene, most recently alongside House legends Miguel Migs and Rasmus Faber. Be sure not to miss him next time he’s in town!
