KwerkShoPPe is all about dancing, grooves and good times. The sound of the band combines instrumental funk and jazzy hooks with extremely infectious percussive grooves that get any punter in the mood for some hip thrusting and moon walking. Defined by locals as the Gold Coast’s underground Funk icon, Kwerkshoppe brings joy to any that step in their path.

Hailing from South East QLD the band has been well established for over 6 years playing countless shows all over the East coast of Oz supporting bands from The Beautiful Girls to Koolism and leaving people blown away by there musicianship. Each of the members has over 10 years of experience with live performance and all styles of music.

KwerkShoPPe has performed at venues such as Ambiwerra wine and jazz festival in Brisbane, 3 years running, featuring artists like James Morrison, Marcia Hines and Katie Noonan. Some of the many venues include The Swingin Safari, QBar, Chophouse, Elsewhere, Mybar, Quest, The Pink Elephant, Fishermans Wharf - Gold Coast, The Press Club - Brisbane ~ Great Northern Hotel, C-Moog - Byron Bay, Bar Broadway, The Civic Bar, Beach Road Hotel Bondi – Sydney.
