More recently, having relocated from Melbourne in June 08, Chrystal is making moves on the Gold Coast live music scene with new 6 piece act, Chrystal and The Rock.The lush vocal harmonies produced by Chrystal and The Cottone Sisters (CC the Cat, Anarchist Duck) brings a cool new depth to the music, giving it an un-cliched, soul feel with jazzy, drum & bassy, reggae blues.
Chrystal and The Rock's unique blend of funky, smooth, haunting vocals and poetry, coupled with the ebb and flow of the bands soulful and relaxed playing, make for an always enjoyable and often hypnotic listening experience. Enjoy!
