The two members of BRIK morf themselves into an elated state of creativity as their music builds through distinct styles.

Owning professional PA and lighting, BRIK are able to supply production for and participate in any funky event, organizing a complete solid sound system of talents. From free-styling MC’s and DJ's to guest vocalist and musicians, BRIK can lay down an entire night of groovealicious entertainment for your event or venue.

Combining their talents, both Nicole and Porl as members of BRIK display a cultural maturity when creating music TOGETHER, resulting in a specialized AND HARMONIOUS sound scape for your event or venue.

Nicole Perry
Nicole is an accomplished percussionist, vocalist and professional drummer and has built up quite a reputation for herself and as a member of Brik.

Corporate Work Experience
As a full time musician she also plays at Corporate functions working with some of Brisbane’s top Corporate acts and musicians.

Festivals / Supports & Appearances
Nicky has played to huge crowds at Big Day Out for three consecutive years and Livid for two years. She has played at The Falls Festival, Sydney Festival, Byron Bay Blues Festival, Brisbane River Festival, and many gigs at The Woodford Folk Festival over the years including last year.

Nicky was a member of Zephyr Timbre, the support band for the Jamiroquai National Tour. Playing nine gigs in total at Perth Burwood Dome, Rod Laver Arena (Melb.), Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Sydney Entertainment Centre and Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The average number of audience she played to was 15000 people per night.

Porl DeVille
Working on many projects through the years, DeVille was a member of bands Trace Element and Torch before forming his breakthrough electronic groove collective Zephyr Timbre in 1999.

ZT enjoyed a hugely successful run including high rotation airplay, festival slots including The Big Day Out and Livid, and national tours with Spearhead, Jamiroquai and Moby amongst many others. This experience would eventually morph into a stepping stone leading to a new project called My Ninja Lover.

Creating ‘electronic cabaret’ music, the group quickly garnered a series of accolades including taking out first place in Nokia’s national Terminal 9 Connecting Beats competition in 2004, and winning the Q Music best dance/electronic group of 2006.  Leaping from strength to strength, MNL released a critically acclaimed debut EP entitled Silk and Daggers, followed by a set of remixes of seminal tune ‘2 X 2’.
